Optimise your
appointment scheduling
 in 6 simple steps

GOOGLE CALENDAR SHARING

Sharing your
calendar

with others not
only help you plan
yourself better and ease
out the hassle in scheduling appointments, but it also
goes a long way in keeping up
with your professional
obligations and appointments.

Google
Calendar

helps you avoid the
back-and-forth of
scheduling
in a never-ending
email chain.

Not only does
it allow users to
create and edit events,
with the help of
Geographic Information
System, Google Calendar
also allows the users to
 add the location of the
events and invite others
to attend the event.

With so many
utilities packed into
one tool, the advantages
of being able to share your

GOOGLE CALENDAR

 WITH YOUR CONTACTS ARE

REMARKABLY HIGH.

SHARING A GOOGLE CALENDAR IS FAIRLY EASY AND CAN BE DONE IN THE FOLLOWING STEPS.

1

on your computer
(as the app currently
does not support
calendar sharing)

OPEN GOOGLE CALENDAR

2

If you have

MULTIPLE
CALENDARS

 IN YOUR ACCOUNT, EXPAND THE
“MY CALENDAR” SECTION TO
VIEW ALL YOUR CALENDARS
AND CLICK ON THE THREE
VERTICAL DOTS NEXT TO THE
CALENDAR YOU’D LIKE TO SHARE.

3

Next, click
on settings and
sharing. Check the
time-zone you are in to ensure accurate

TRANSFER OF INFORMATION.

4

Next, scroll down to

SHARE
WITH SPECIFIC
PEOPLE

AND CLICK “ADD PEOPLE” TO
ENTER YOUR CONTACT
MAIL ADDRESS(ES).

Before you click
on that sweet, little
send button, do check
the amount of details you
want to share with your contacts (whether you want
to share your free days or
busy days) from the

“PERMISSIONS”

dropdown.

But it doesn’t end there!
Once you’ve shared your calendar with your contacts, they need to accept the invite by clicking on the auto-generated email from Google informing them about the shared calendar. And if your contact
doesn’t have Google Calendar, they can only view your calendar if it is shared publicly.
