Achieving sales targets and keeping a sales team motivated are essential for any successful business. To help you scale and grow without constantly referring to IT professionals, Patronum will delegate a subset of Google Workspace administration to sales and marketing managers. This quickly removes some constraints on their time and improves their team’s working environment with, for example, the ability of a manager to reset a team member’s login password.
Successful recruitment into sales or marketing roles involves attracting talented people. To eliminate any friction as new hires join, Patronum policies utilise Google Groups and Labels to automatically allocate resources to a Google Workspace including Google Drive, Google Calendars, Gmail email signature and Google Contacts shared contacts. Once onboarded each new member of staff has access to shared data and is able to collaborate with everyone around them from day one, an important part of early job satisfaction.
For marketers, Patronum email signature management is an easy way of turning business emails into lead generation for sales. You can amend email signatures at any time for specific groups of people to reposition your company’s corporate branding or as part of product campaigns to generate new prospects. This cross functional collaboration between sales and marketing increases productivity, with shared contacts, common customer lists, standard client experiences and up to date templates or presentations. With Patronum delegated administration a sales manager has the ability to quickly change and reconfigure teams to address major sales opportunities. For the sales person or team there’s access to new data, more shared contacts and possibly revised email signatures.
A sales consultant may share data e.g. a presentation or quote with a client or an external partner, and they can revoke access when it or the sales opportunity expires. This has the advantage of encouraging a client to call again to request renewal.
Occasionally with sensitive customers and prospects you may get “do not call” requests and demands to remove personal details. This right to be forgotten goes beyond removal of centrally stored data in Google Workspace and Patronum will enforce removal of details on any mobile devices by synchronizing Shared Contacts, or allowing a manager or compliance officer the ability to remove or flag such customers within Google Contacts.
When a sales or marketing person leaves the organization data will be transferred according to Patronum offboarding policies. Email may be archived and after a set period of time deleted according to a Patronum retention policy. Managers will want to review and remove specific external data sharing and delete Google Drive data in bulk. Additionally an organization-wide data retention process may use a Patronum drive compliance policy to remove data from Google Drive automatically.
